Traffic Sources

Postby barbreader » Sun Dec 15, 2013 12:45 am

One of the things I will never understand is which traffic sources Star Trek Reviewed gets. I understand when I get traffic from any fan film website (I have links back from some non-Trek or multi-fan film magazines). But here were the most active today:

http://www.vampirestat.com (51 referrals)
http://www.7secretsearch.com (45 referrals)
http://www.adsensewatchdog.com (29 referrals)
http://www.starwoodhotels.com/pro ... (turns out to be the place you go when you book with a corporate code. I can't see it because I don't have a corporate code) (19)
http://www.vampirestat.com/ (different because of the / I guess) (18)
OK, after that it drops to 4, and most of them are google or the star trek expanded universe wiki.

The biggest one for the week was the starwoodhotels one, with 89 referrals for the week. I really can't figure out why in space (or on earth) this would link to Star Trek Reviewed.

Could they have a hotel near a fan film studio they are advocating by trying to drum up interest in fan films? I'm clueless.
